According to the Greater Washington County Food Bank’s website, as of October 29, 2025, there were more than 18,820 people in Washington County who are food insecure; of those, 20 percent are children, 30 percent are seniors, and 38 percent may not qualify for traditional food pantries. These numbers will likely increase, which means we are going to have to work together to make sure no one goes hungry during these trying times.
This situation is fluid, therefore please contact the Washington County Human Services’ Help Line at 724-228-1234 to see if there is assistance available that we missed.
